13 PKK terrorists were killed in an air operation in northern Iraq early Sunday, a military source said.

Thirteen PKK terrorists were killed in northern Iraq’s Avasin-Basyan regions in an airstrike early Sunday while they were preparing to launch an armed attack, a source, speaking on condition of anonymity due to restrictions on talking to the media, said.

The strike also destroyed seven ammunition depots belonging to the terrorist organization PKK, it added.

2 PKK terrorists killed in southeastern Turkey

The 2 separate incidents occurred in Hakkari and Bitlis provinces on Friday.
