Tunisian FM calls on Brazil to participate in the 2016-2020 investment plan mega-projects

Foreign Minister Khemaies Jhinaoui called on Brazil to participate in mega-projects Tunisia plans to achieve under the 2016-2020 investment plan.

He had several meetings with senior officials in Brazil during the last day of his working visit to Brazil (April 25-28).

At his meeting with Minister of Social and Agrarian Development Osmar Terra, Jhinaoui commended the Brazilian leading experience in combating poverty and in social integration.

He expressed Tunisia’s desire to make the most of the Brazilian expertise in sectors of economic solidarity, unique social identifier and family agriculture.

His meeting with Tourism Minister Marx Beltrão turned on the visit of a Brazilian delegation of tourism experts and professionals to Tunisia during 2017 to learn more about the Tunisian product as well as on the implementation of a MoU inked by both countries on March 2016.

The outcome of the Economic Forum held on April 26 in Sao Paulo and the visit of a Brazilian businessmen delegation to Tunisia were at heart of his meeting with Executive Secretary at the Industry, Foreign Trade and Services Ministry Marcos Jorge de Lima.

On this occasion, Jhinaoui reviewed the structural reforms initiated by the government to improve the investment climate.
