According to a statement on its website, The U.S. consulate in Istanbul cancelled consular services for Wednesday due to a “possible security threat†against the mission.
The statement said urgent appointments would still be provided and diplomatic missions in the cities of Ankara, Adana and Izmir, will provide service, as usual.
