Netanyahu calls for “global solution to terror”

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called for “a global solution” to terrorism in a phone call with French president Francois Hollande to express his solidarity after the Paris attacks.

Netanyahu “wanted to convey a message of support and stressed that terrorism was a global problem requiring a global solution,” the presidency said, five days after Paris was rocked by a terrorist attacked that left 129 people dead and hundreds injured.

Netanyahu also confirmed he would still attend a key climate summit in Paris that opens later this month.
